Sorry Lads, Unfortunately my Head cold has got worse, & when i got to the Petrol Station this morning , my Eyes were streaming due to the cold air , i literally squinted all the way back home , i hope to see you all  soon

Obviously,not a firm enough word Jim good turn out today,considering it was a tad chilly,thank heavens for my Gerbings heated gloves,nice ride down to the Ace,although my road had a good covering of frost on it,all main roads were clear of any frost and the main hazard for me was the glare of the sun.I think todays meet could have been thought to be a "Burgman"meet by outsiders 4 x 650 Burgers,Jules on her 400 Burger,Spanners on his Suzuki 250 and JohnP on the Nexus,yes i said JohnP,no Ballet lessons,kiddies Parties or trips to buy leather sofa's

It was good to see you all and the breakfast was tasty for a change, only one problem and that was the Nexus playing up as usual as it didn't want to start when we were leaving the Ace today, so when i got home i said the the mrs that's it i am getting a new bike, either the Burger 650 which everyone seems to have or the Honda DN-01 as the price is to good not to consider it.

Rocket go to specsavers, it's a well made Yamaha 250, got back home, took the bike round the back, sprayed it with muckoff, hosed it down, washed it with warm water, hosed it again, leathered it down with warm water in bucket, then moved bike away and brushed up the back concrete with broom and muckoff suds..
Tips.. put leather in warm water before using it, throw a bucket of warm water over bike before drying it, so at no time did I touch a cold bike.
Make sure SWMBO See's you cleaning the concrete.

Well there we were all waiting for the arrival of John P on his new steed,so where were you Jonny Boy?left it till 11.30 and got bored and headed home as did the rest of the welcome party

On the other hand,it was really great to see Jim(aka Jaykay)illness has laid the old boy up for a year+ so it was good to him back on two wheels.

Barry was kept busy out in the car park as it was PT Cruiser day.

Hope you(Martyn)got to your mates with no problems and the carbs were sorted.

Sorry guy's but did not make it to the Ace as i was running very late due to the bus i was on to go and pick the bike up blooming broke down on route which put me back nearly an hour, so hope to see you soon.

All fine thanks Steve, grateful for the escort (not that sort!).

Throttle Bodies checked, sadly naff all wrong as I'd hoped they were out and by adjusting them the slight snatchiness in the throttle would be fixed.  But still, did it's job of confirming I'll need to redo (again) the TPS adjustment.

Though my mate's mechanic friend did suggest the TPS could be faulty, so I'll check out the cost of a new one and might do that.

To be honest I doubt it's faulty and all I need do really is to adjust it back to where it was before I touched it.  Even though the dealer mode readout says that this was "incorrect" and where it is now reads out as "correct".

Anyway this is fairly small tinkering as it rides and works fine, just me attempting to ekk out more economy, so I may well leave alone - which is the adage for today!
